Candlewolff ov Thee Golden Chalice

Natan A wicked trip to a landscape composed exclusively of pure dark guitar textures. Perhaps my favourite O))) track.
Tom Rimshot

Tom Rimshot One of the original pieces that helped me discover O))). Still incredible, with a calming warmth and weight to it, despite the ominous chord progressions. The balance and restraint in their performances remains just as key as the volume levels. Hail, O)))!

Christopher Moklebust Now, I am generally not a fan of minimalist and/or drone oriented music - I come from the more maximalist tradition - but there was something about SUNN O)))'s Candlewolff ov Thee Golden Chalice which I could not help but admire. Its impenetrable doom and malice could darken any soul... and the cover art is great too!

Terror-Billy Pretty much this was the point I started collecting vinyl again. I wish I still had this magnificent EP in my collection... must have read about it on the SL forum back in the day... my copy of this record disappeared like a speck of sand in life’s hourglass. Artwork by Savage Pencil !! O))) = deep listening
Christopher Charlot

Christopher Charlot Some of the heaviest drone ever put to vinyl. Intense, epic and most importantly glacial in tempo. This is a fine example of Sunn 0)) at their best. Maximum volume yields maximum results.
